Wow...

So I didn't like the word "blog" back in college. Probably I still don't, which is why my latest endeavor, a glob of nerdishness has such a strange name.

Yet, now that we're living so far from the Midwest, it's great to be able to subscribe to the feeds of friends, sisters, and even grandparents.

Duct taped to the bandwagon

If you've visited extinguishedscholar.com lately, you'll see that I have installed WordPress and it is making me look like yet another wannabe blogger. This is not true. I publish in a public place, using software that gives people the ability to speak up in response, instead of forever holding their peace.
'Blog' is still a yuppie word.

Another chance of blogness

Well, now that blogs are *so* cool that a large percentage of my peers have them....I still have yet to install Wordpress. I have a site, though currently just a mirror of my old one:

I am opposed to jumping on this bandwagon, especially since I don't have anything profound to say right now. But it would make posting news a little easier...
